Hannah (she/they) is an experienced educator, researcher and artist with a particular interest in accessible dance research, community outreach, advocacy, and working with young people.
Hannah's teaching practice prioritises an ethics of care, safe dance practice, connection to self, body, each other & our dance communities, and facilitating creativity and connection to joy. They aim for their classes to be safe and healthy spaces to explore, connect, and grow through movement, creative practice, and the community her classes foster. Hannah currently teaches contemporary dance at various schools across Naarm both as a Faculty Educator and Guest Teacher, and is also employed as a Research Assistant and Teacher at Deakin University as part of AllPlay Dance, a research program committed to making dance inclusive and accessible for children with disabilities.
Hannah is passionate about sharing her inclusive and empowering teaching practice and is continuously working to foster a safe space for dancers of all ages, abilities, and identities while understanding and advocating for positive change within the dance industry.
