Mummy/Daddy & Me
(2–3.5 years)

Mummy/Daddy & Me is a fun, first dance experience for 2–3.5-year-olds to share with a trusted caregiver—not just mums or dads, but also grandparents, babysitters or other family members. Classes use props, songs and music to encourage movement, coordination and a gentle introduction to ballet.

We offer a 3-class trial to help your child settle in before committing to the term.

Tots
(3.5–5 years)

Tots is a pre-school ballet program designed for children who are ready to follow a teacher’s instructions independently. Each term follows a unique theme like Under the Sea, The Secret Garden, or A Day at the Circus.

The term-long themes create a playful, imaginative setting for learning. The strong storytelling woven throughout helps children feel secure as they develop movement skills through repetition and routine, and builds the foundations of ballet while learning through play.

Eight unique programs over two years provide a diverse range of experiences for your child.

Jumping Jacks
(4–5 years)

Jumping Jacks is a creative preschool dance program for energetic 4–5-year-olds ready to take class without a caregiver.

Designed for kinder kids, it builds foundational dance and rhythm skills through imaginative play and storytelling—without focusing on a single dance style. Themes like Treasure Island, Rocket to the Moon, and Flying Carpet Adventureskeep kids engaged while they move, explore, and have fun.

With 4 unique programs taught across one year, it’s ideal for children in their final year of kinder. Prep students are also welcome if they prefer this playful approach.

The Kinderballet™ programs are highly imaginative and thoroughly age appropriate preschool dance programs. These programs have been taught and loved across Australia for over 10-years.

The programs have been developed in consultation with early childhood specialists and have a strong focus on learning through play, which is the most effective way for preschool aged children to learn. 

Kinderballet™ classes allow our students to learn all the foundational dance skills while having fun.

What to Wear

Preschool students can wear anything they’d like as long as they are comfortable.

Bare feet are perfectly appropriate for all Kinderballet™ classes, but ballet shoes can be worn if desired (please note: if opting for ballet shoes, they must be 'purpose-made' ballet shoes. 'Ballet flats' with a hard sole cannot be worn for classes due to safety concerns).
